Ellen’s commitment to the community extends beyond her professional role at the City of Burnaby. As a parent volunteer, she not only fulfills the crucial position of head organizer for the St. Francis de Sales’ Spring Fair but also demonstrates a passion for fostering connections in the school, parish and the broader community. Whether interacting with the Filipino or broader community, Ellen’s genuine enthusiasm and willingness to help make her a valued and approachable figure in the community. She is also the Secretary for the Pinoy Festival Alliance.
